About Jaya prithivi Bahadur Singh

Raja Jaya  Prithivi Bahadur Singh of Bajhang Nepal was a passionate advocate
of world peace and brotherhood, a preacher and a thinker of Humanism.
Born as the fifty-fifth prince of Bajhang on August 21, 1877, he graduate
from Calcutta University, and started the publication of Gorakhapatra
(the first newspaper in Nepal) in 1899, established the first Nepali language school, and brought-out many books for students in 1901. Nominated Ambassador for Nepal at Calcutta in 1902-1905, he published the history of Japan in 1907 and visited England as the Chief Editor of Gorakhapatra in 1908 where he was honored by Emperor Edward VII with the title of honorary Colonelship. Jai Prithvi's magnum opus was 'Tatwa Prasamsha,' a book on Humanism in Nepali which came out in 1913.
While he was working for the Humanistic Movement in Nepal, the First Great War (1914-1918) broke out which shocked all humanists and plunged the whole world into chaos. As countries lost their grip on stability, a new wave of cynicism enveloped humankind to an extent never experienced before.
At a time when countries one after another were going bankruptcy and sinking into chaos, and the intellectuals were groping for values that could rescue humanity from the global morass, Jai Prithvi roused the attention of the world to ward the need of Humanism. His movement on Humanism struck a fresh note of peace and brought solace to humanity.
Handing over the rule of his state to his brother he went to Nainital India in 1916 to work eight years on a manuscript in three volumes "Humanism" to propagate his idea of world peace, unity, and brotherhood and then in 1924, he migrated to Bangalore to build the Jaya Bhavan, a residential mansion.
The first Humanistic Club was established by Jaya Prithivi in 1928. His publications include Humanism, Vols. I-III, 'The Humanist' Journal, and 'The Flag of Peace,' a collection of verses on peace. He also undertook extensive travel in Europe between 1929 and 1933 to promote the humanistic movement visiting USA, Japan, China, and almost all Asian Countries and established branches of the Humanistic Club.
In 1935, Jaya Prithivi visited Abyssinia (Ethiopia) to serve the war victims. But four years later, then Rana rulers of Nepal and British India, who were growing suspicious of his popularity and global activism, put him under house arrest for one year where he passed away in 1940.

History of Bajhang district

While taking about Bajhang,Nobody have concern about the heaven or the paradise i.e The village of SINGHA THAKURIS i.e. NAURA....Its the village which has a great and proudable history. The king of Bhajang,The great humanist,Jay Prithivi Bahadur Singh has said''Naura is a dwelling place of real warriors, real faithful person. If anybody has to learn honesty then go to Naura.'' Targeting the brave of bravest Dil Bahadur Singh ,time to time both J.P.B.S & Om Jung has said,''These warriors are my own brothers,we are from same dynasty & same family''.
******HISTORY OF NAURA******
NAURA became self-Governed state within the then country Bajhang. It has the oldest history all over Bajhang. So there was a incident in the history that once there were two brothers from royal family. For business purpose, once the younger brother went to Tibet. There, in Tibet he was looted and killed by notorious Tibetian Don.That news reached to the elder Nauroyal,& The death of his younger brother made him so insane and lunatic that he went to Tibet to take the revenge of his younger brother murder. He reached to Tibet and warned the Don for battle. Both warriors fought for 9 days, 9 hours 9 minutes & at nineth second the brave Nauroyal got victory over the notorious Don.The Don promise to pay a lot of treasure to the Nauroyal. The Nauroyal returned back with the treasure and gave to his brother, the king. Thatswhy he got his name Nauroyal and gifted the place which is now called NAURA.He had four sons who later ruled NAURA. NAURA was the place for military power.
******TODAY'S NAURA******
Today's Naura is far behind lagging behind other village in comparision to infrastructures like roads, electricity, hospitals, education, e,t,c. The past created is in the verge of extinction with the unification and collapse of Bajhang with Nepal by Mahendra. Nowadays one Nauroyal is jealous of other .They are unware of their past history, their reign in Bajhang. They have no response towards their degradement. The Nauroyals are the greatest THAKURIS of Whole Nepal as stated in history of Nepal. But ,nowadays things have utterly changed. Due to poverty and illiteracy , the condition of Nauroyals is very miserable and deplorable.
Despite this all, some blooming symptoms have started to show their effects. The Nauroyals have attained education degrees and have scattered all over Nepal and all over world as well for Naura and whole Bajhang .
However , the royals of Bajhang are now in capital exercising the relish in city not thinking about the state. They should realise their great mistake and should return to their homeland and state i.e BAJHANG .Then only they will be real Bhajhangis otherwise they have no any relations with Bajhang. Mother Bajhang will curse them.

history of nepal

The history of Nepal is characterized by its isolated position in the Himalayas and its two neighbors, India and Tibet.
Due to the arrival of disparate settler groups from outside through the ages, it is now a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multilingual country. Central Nepal was split in three kingdoms from the 15th century until the 18th century, when it was unified under the Shah monarchy. The national language of Nepal is Nepali, which is also the most-spoken language of Nepal.
Nepal experienced a struggle for democracy in the 20th century. During the 1990s and until 2008, the country was in civil strife. A peace treaty was signed in 2008 and elections were held in the same year.
Many of the ills of Nepal have been blamed on the royal family of Nepal. In a historical vote for the election of the constituent assembly, Nepalese voted to oust the monarchy in Nepal. In June 2008, Nepalese ousted the royal household. Nepal was formally renamed the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal when it became a federal republic.
